South Carolina Asian American/ Pacific Islander Emphasis Program

The Asian Pacific Islander Program Manager works to assure the needs and problems of  Asian Pacific Islander origin are taken into consideration in the NRCS workforce in South Carolina. The APIPM also seeks to ensure that Asian Pacific Islanders have an equal opportunity to compete for federal employment and promotions.  The manager also distributes information statewide during Asian Pacific Islander Heritage Month in May.

Elyse Benson is the Ninety-Six District RC&D Coordinator in Greenwood, SC.
