South Carolina Disabilities Emphasis Program

 

The NRCS Disabilities Emphasis Program (DEP) in South Carolina provides assistance to people with disabilities and promotes their welfare, dignity and advancement. The SC-DEP manager works with field offices on accessibility problems, and disseminates accessibility and disability information to all employees in the state.


Wayne Henderson, Civil Engineering Technician in Spartanburg County, is the DEP Manager.  He started work in the Chester Area Office in 1974. He has been involved in the survey and construction process within NRCS his entire career.  Henderson was appointed Disabilities Program manager in October 2001.
