The Canon Envirothon is North America’s largest environmental
competition for high school students. The annual competition features
teams of students representing schools from different provinces and
states that have successfully competed and won at their respective state
level. The teams, comprised of five students, compete for scholarships
by demonstrating knowledge of environmental science and natural resource
management. South Carolina’s representative, the Spartanburg High School
team, scored the highest at the state competition held in May.
