NRCS Offers Students Valuable Learning Experience
This summer, NRCS is hosting eight college interns, six high school interns, and one
1890's USDA Scholar Student. The students are
placed in field offices throughout the state.
Howard Conyers, a freshman at North Carolina A&T
University, is an 1890's USDA Scholar Student working with the Greenville engineering office.
The students received orientation on June 18, 2001,
in the NRCS state office. "NRCS is pleased to
offer these students an enriching, hands-on
learning experience," said Walter W. Douglas, NRCS
