Backyard Conservation

NRCS Earth Team Volunteers will play a vital role in this national campaign. If you have gardening or landscaping skills, you could educate homeowners about plants, erosion control, composting, attracting birds and butterflies, and developing attractive backyards. The program bring conservation from the countryside to your backyard. As an Earth Team Volunteer, you can promote this new conservation program by getting out into your neighborhood and educating your friends and neighbors. There are hundreds of ways you can make a difference by becoming an Earth Team Volunteer!
